A trusted partner in the Milwaukee arts community, Artists Working in Education, Inc. (AWE) is committed to providing equitable access to the arts for everyone. Our mission is to connect youth with positive, creative opportunities that advance learning, enhance human potential, and cultivate community, and we've been doing so for over 25 years.

Committed to removing all barriers to participation, AWE brings FREE, quality, hands-on arts engagement experiences to parks, neighborhoods, schools, and other community sites throughout Milwaukee.

With the support of generous donors like you, AWE served over 4,500 children through our programs last year. We believe in fostering the transformative power of creativity and imagination by offering a nurturing and inspiring environment where youth can explore their creativity, develop new skills, and express themselves through various artistic mediums.
